CRDA Announces Second Annual Cornerstone Award

(TRAVPR.COM) FL - September 5th, 2014 - The Canadian Resort Development Association (CRDA), a trade association dedicated to furthering the interests of the resort industry in Canada and throughout the world, is now taking nominations for their prestigious annual Cornerstone Award.

This coveted award recognizes innovators in the vacation ownership industry and entry is open to any company, Home Owners Association, individual or vacation ownership project. A worthy recipient of the Cornerstone Award would be anyone or any company that has seized an opportunity, addressed a need, solved a problem or created a game changing value proposition that has left a lasting positive impact on the industry, the environment and society, while being an inspiration to other CRDA members.

The 2014 Cornerstone award will be presented at the upcoming Canadian Resort Conference (CRC), September 23-24 in Toronto, Canada, hosted by Perspective Group. Cornerstone Award finalists will benefit from enhanced exposure leading up to, during and after the CRC conference, including press releases, website acknowledgement and inclusion in a special 4-page feature in Perspective Magazine.

Each of the finalists will also be given the opportunity to give a 5-minute verbal presentation to all delegates during the conference before the winner of the 2014 award is announced.

Judging of this award is based on both panel and online voting. Four judges which represent the Awards Committee will independently select their three top scoring nominees based on the narrative and collateral provided and their industry knowledge. Each judge's scores represent 20% of the overall score for a nominee, with the remaining 20% coming from an online voting process open to all industry professionals.
