What is TravPR?
TravPR.com is a premium news distribution service designed specifically for the travel industry. It offers a significantly more cost effective service than the larger and more general news services.
I'm already using other news wires, why should I use TravPR?
TravPR is dedicated to travel news and so offers a more targetted channel than the general news services and so offers additional reach. We don't delete your press releases like most of the larger services.

Where will my release be seen?

How do I submit a press release?
Please visit the Submit a Press Release page and choose your required distribution service. Once you have completed the submission form press continue and you will be taken to a Paypal payment page if you have selected one of our paid services.
Once payment is processed our news editors will review your release and either approve for distribution, place on editorial hold with suggested changes for approval, or not approved for distribution because the material is not accepted by TravPR.com.
If you choose the free distribution service option then your submission will be sent direct to our editorial desk and you will be notified by email when your release has been approved for publication.
Is your free press release distribution service really free?
Yes, if you select the Free Submit service, and there are no catches or obligations when you use this service. Furthermore, unlike most other free distribution services there will be no third-party ads on your release.
What is the difference between Free Submit and Search Pro?
Free Submit is our basic service and does not allow you to include live html links, logo/picture inclusion, YouTube video inclusion, or Live Site View. Select the Search -ro option for these enhancements. In addition, Search Pro releases are sent to an expanded distribution list for increased exposure and are included in the Featured Releases section. Finally, same day publishing is guaranteed Mon - Fri with the Search Pro service but not the Free Submit service.

What is the difference between Search Pro and Media Pro?
Media Pro offers all of the search and social media distribution and features of the Search Pro service but in addition your release will be sent to hundreds of editors at national newspapers, travel magazine, travel trade magazines, leisure magazines and online travel trade websites.
Choose Media Pro if you want comprehensive online news and social media distribution combined with maximum media exposure through direct distribution to key travel trade press, travel magazines & national newspaper travel editors in the USA, UK, Canada, Australia & New Zealand.
How many links can I include in my release?
As many as you want. However, we recommend including no more than one link for every 100 words of copy to ensure that your release is accepted by as many of our outlets as possible. Remember, you cannot include html links in Free Submit press releases.
How do I pay?
If you opt for a paid service you can pay with Visa, Mastercard, American Express and PayPal. Payment is online only using the Paypal payment portal. When you checkout you will see "Pay with Credit Card or Log In." To pay with a credit card, simply fill out the form and click "Review Order and Continue" button. Confirm your order and your done.
How long does it take for my press release to be published?
All submissions are processed within 24 hours and usually on the same day. During busy periods Search Pro and Media Pro press releases take priority over Free Submit releases.
Can you guarantee that my press release will be published by all your distribution outlets?
No. No press release distribution service can guarantee this as we do not control the submission process of third-party websites and news portals. What we can guarantee is that we will send your release to all of our distribution outlets if it is approved by our editorial team.
Can I cancel my press release?
If you wish to remove your press release from the TravPR.com website please email the helpdesk. However, we are unable to remove your press release from our distribution partners' websites. No refunds are given for cancellations once a press release has been published.
What if my press release is not approved?
If your press release does not meet our minimum editorial standards, or is not an appropriate theme for TravPR.com, you will be notified by email. Your submission fee will then be refunded in full.
Do I need to download or install any software?
No. Our press release distribution platform is web-based and does not require you to download or install anything. All that is required is a web browser and an internet connection - it's that simple.
