In today's scenario, travel is at a standstill, here is a checklist to use to save losing travel investmets

1. Do they hold insurance licenses? (There are stringent rules to obtain and keep such a license: no bankruptcies, no felonies, no inaccuracies in the financial disclosures).
2. Is the company affiliated with an industry group in addition to IATAN? In other words are they active with travel associations that uphold high standards? Even better, does the owner have a Board position with an industry group?
3. Does the office answer the phone? If not, do they call back promptly? 
4. Is their office open during ‘normal office’ hours considered as 8 hours a day?
5. Do they take credit cards for most transactions? Do they accept bookings from travel agents? Travel agent bookings show 'objective others 'trust them.
6. Will they give you a bank reference?
7. Does the small print include vague areas not normal to similar companies. Currently some companies are adding restrictive small print to bookings made with different conditions.
8. Are the thousands of Facebook likes real people? Click on a few to see if the profile is skimpy.
9. 9.  Are photos real? Do a google image match and find the original. 
10. 10. Do they work directly with any Tourist Boards?
