Frank Hanes Awarded Legacy Membership by New England Inns and Resorts Association
North Hampton, NH (December 20, 2019) – Frank Hanes, former Owner of the Inn at Manchester, Manchester, VT was awarded Legacy Membership by New England Inns & Resorts Association (NEIRA) at the 112th Annual Conference on October 30th at the Samoset Resort in Rockport, Maine, announced NEIRA CEO/President Beth Steucek.
NEIRA’s Legacy Membership acknowledges an individual who has been an active member of the Association for a minimum of ten years and who has now retired from the innkeeping business.
“Frank has been involved with NEIRA since 2008” said Steucek, “He served on our Board, and held the roles of Treasurer and Chair of the Finance Committee. His commitment and passion for the industry is a source of inspiration and her dedication to NEIRA over the years is well deserving of this recognition.”
In 2003, Frank decided to leave the corporate world and to buy an Inn - a long-time dream. After a one night stay at The Inn at Manchester in April 2003, the decision was made. He purchased The Inn at Manchester, in Manchester, Vermont. Frank owned and operated the Inn with his family for 15 years and sold it on June 27, 2018 to a family that is committed to the Manchester community and the hospitality industry.
