Carl Lindblade Awarded Legacy Membership by New England Inns and Resorts Association
North Hampton, NH (December 20, 2019) – Carl Lindblade was awarded Legacy Membership by New England Inns & Resorts Association (NEIRA) at the 112th Annual Conference on October 30th at the Samoset Resort in Rockport, Maine, announced NEIRA CEO/President Beth Steucek.
NEIRA’s Legacy Membership acknowledges an individual who has been an active member of the Association for a minimum of ten years and who has now retired from the innkeeping business.
“Carl has been involved with NEIRA for over 5 decades” said Steucek, “His commitment and passion for the industry is a source of inspiration and his dedication to NEIRA over the years is well deserving of this recognition.”
Carl Lindblade began his hotel career at the Balsams Resort in Dixville Notch and for over 40 years has operated 3 and 4 diamond hotels and resorts. In addition to years of hands on experience he brings a commitment to community and industry service. In 2009, as a volunteer, Carl coached the Conway New Hampshire Kennett High School's Lodging Class to a national championship in a competition sponsored by the American Hotel and Lodging Association. He is recently retired from the hospitality management department at the University of New Hampshire.
