Specialist tour operator, Ranch Rider is launching an exclusive, three part riding holiday.

(TRAVPR.COM) UK - September 26th, 2017 - Specialist tour operator, Ranch Rider is launching an exclusive, three part riding holiday. The nine night, Classic Arizona Adventure will depart on 15 November, the itinerary including three night stays at Tucson’s White Stallion Guest Ranch, the Tombstone Monument Ranch and Sasabe’s recently re-opened, Rancho de la Osa.

Tony Daly, Managing Director of Ranch Rider comments, “Appealing to beginners and experienced riders, each ranch offers a mix of horseback adventures, from scenic “wine & cheese” rides at the White Stallion to more challenging lopes, a seven hour ride to the ghost town of Fairbank available at the Tombstone Monument Ranch.  Cattle drives are also set to begin at the Rancho de la Osa in October.”

All of the properties are dude ranches so there are plenty of alternative pursuits for guests who want a break from horse riding, including rock climbing, fat tyre electric bike tours, archery, clay pigeon shooting and off road excursions.

Daly comments, “It's worth swapping saddles at the Rancho de la Osa and trying out the fat tyre electric bikes. We had so much fun on the sandy tracks, we almost reached the Mexican border."

Visited by the tour operator after it re-opened in February of this year, Rancho de la Osa is one of the most historic guest ranches in the west, the property dating back to around 1720.

Daly comments, “Jesuit missionaries, revolutionaries, presidents, writers and even Hollywood stars from the golden era of Westerns have made their mark on the Rancho de la Osa, so it’s a fascinating place to visit.”

Nine night Classic Arizona Adventure from £1,979pp (two sharing) including accommodation, meals (except lunch on Nov 19th), activities, use of facilities, taxes, transfers and gratuities. Excludes return flight from £879pp. Departing 15 November.
