NEW EXECUTIVE CHEF HEATS UP THE KITCHEN AT APRICOT HOTEL HANOI

24-year veteran to luxury hotels and training schools, Chef Nguyen Manh Tuan has joined the 5-star Apricot Hotel in Hanoi as new Executive Chef of L’Artiste and Palette restaurant from March 2017.

(TRAVPR.COM) VIETNAM - June 5th, 2017 - Nguyen Manh Tuan, a Vietnamese native, has built his career through assignments at various international restaurants in his early years from Australian, European to American properties. He then stepped up in his career and joined the hospitality industry by accepting Sous Chef position at the 4-star at Sunway Hotel Hanoi and Executive Chef at Muong Thanh Grand Hotel for 12 years before advancing to manage the F&B Department of the reputable VTC Telecom Corporation.

Chef Nguyen Manh Tuan’s cooking style is defined by inspiring and preserving the original flavours of fresh ingredients as well as smoothly combining Western and Asian culture. Chef Tuan has spent his earlier years to travel through Vietnam to learn and sample a diversity of local foods and cooking techniques. His strong knowledge on Vietnamese cuisine makes a stable platform for him to experiment creative combination of food across cultures. As a result, he had been previously nominated to be Vietnam’s representative in international cultural promotions and festivals in Singapore and Malaysia.

Chef Tuan says of his appointment: “The unique and modern artistic concept of Apricot Hotel is my biggest inspiration to create a brand new menu with 7 signature dishes that define the art of fine dining at our luxurious restaurants and bars. My vision is to bring our guests an exceptional and memorable dining experience by introducing a renovative and characteristic food menu that satisfies taste bud of international guests around the world.”

Apart from his culinary skill, Chef Nguyen Manh Tuan is a well-known name as a reputable trainer for award-winning talents in ASEAN Skill Competition. He has worked as a training expert in advanced courses of various reputable cooking schools in Vietnam for 20 years.

In his new capacity, Chef Nguyen Manh Tuan will showcase his intensive knowledge on culinary and proficient cooking skill in food preparation and preservation. With strong skill in a vast range of international cuisines and kitchen management, Chef Tuan is expected to bring an extraordinary renovation in the hotel’s menu and kitchen team.
