WATERVILLE VALLEY SENDS OFF SUMMER THIS LABOR DAY WITH A BASH

Waterville Valley, NH – Head to Waterville Valley and help send off summer right during the ‘Just Ducky’ End of Summer Bash. This annual event is a weekend-long celebration over Labor Day weekend, September 3-5.  

The weekend kicks off in Town Square on Saturday, September 3 with a bounce house from 12-2 p.m. and live entertainment from D-Comp Trio from 5:30-8:30 p.m.

Sunday, September 4 is a full day of family fun and entertainment that includes face painting, a meet and greet with Valley Snow Dogz and Bruce the Moose, a scavenger hunt and live entertainment. Everyone is invited to participate in the annual ‘Just Ducky’ rubber duck race on Corcoran Pond at 5 p.m., to benefit the Pemi Bridge House and includes prizes for the three fastest ducks. The day culminates with fireworks over Corcoran Pond at 8:30 p.m. Visit the Waterville Valley event page for a full schedule.

Ducks are available for purchase at Town Square Condos check-in office, Bookmonger/Toad Hall Toys, Waterville Mercantile and Dreams and Visions. They are $3/duck or four for $10. Participants do not need to be present to win but are encouraged to cheer on the ducks during the race.

On Monday, September 5, there will be a live animal show with the Squam Lakes Natural Science Center from 10-11 a.m. in the Town Square.
