ACTIVETRAVEL ASIA INTRODUCED NEW VERSION OF MOTORCYCLING HO CHI MINH TRAIL – COMPLETE CHALLENGE
Industry: Travel Agents

Motorcycling along Ho Chi Minh trail is a legend in motorcycling tours in Vietnam. This trail offers stunning scenery plus the traffic not heavy by locals. Riding on Ho Chi Minh trail was first introduced by Active Travel Asia since 2006 and still has kept its record as the most loved motorcycling trails across Vietnam. Till this summer of 2016, a ride down to the beaches of Mui Ne was added due to spectacular winding road from Highland Central to the coastline. “That is an absolutely stunning ride for all motorbike lovers” said ActiveTravel Asia’s manager.

(TRAVPR.COM) VIETNAM - July 7th, 2016 - The detailed program originally lasts 14 days motorcycling across Vietnam from North to South on the Honda Future Neo 110CC by default. This is the typical motorbike – semi automatic bikes – of Vietnam, where motorbikes are very much nominated. The upgraded options (surcharges applied) are Yamaha XTZ 125C, Honda XR 250CC, and Suzuki DRZ 400 CC, of which Yamaha XTZ 125CC is most picked.

The itinerary is divided into three main sections that depends on the historical features combined with natural terrain: first part is typically mountainous via the marvelous Mai Chau valley and stopover at the famous Quang Binh province with well-known Phong Nha National park where the biggest and third largest caves over the world marked their names, Son Doong and Hang En caves.

The second part specializes on historical approach when the riders visit to the former DMZ (demilitarized zone). The highlights certainly recall lifetime memory of veterans, including Dong Ha, Ben Hai Bridge, Dong Loc interjection, Hue, Hoi an.

The last part is Highland Central of Vietnam that merges the beauty of vast coffee plantations with the historical story of the most aggressive battle field during war time in 1960s – 1970s. The names to be called are Kon Tum, Buon Ma Thuot, Dalat before ending up in Sai gon or Ho Chi Minh City since 1976.

The newly added part of this Vietnam motor tour is a ride from Dalat to Phan Thiet (Mui Ne beach) that leads to one (01) extra day at the beach prior to the last ride to Sai gon. “The winding road from Highland Central (Dalat) down to the coastline is awesomely spectacular in both terms of riding challenging experience and natural landscape. Our pilot operation of this new version receives very much positive feedback from motor bikers. We are confident of this new version, bringing more enjoyable time to motorcycling lovers” ActiveTravel Asia excitedly confirmed.
