With less than 3 weeks to go till Valentine’s day A1 travel have released a selection of last minute Valentines City breaks to help the British public to celebrate the romantic holiday in style.

(TRAVPR.COM) UNITED KINGDOM - January 26th, 2015 - Every year, British men spend over £622m on valentines gifts and women spend £354m every year. For the past decade, Valentine’s Day has becoming increasingly important to the travel industry. One survey showed that 51% of couples would like to spend a weekend away around Valentine’s Day and they are increasingly doing so.

However, British consumers are still living on tight budgets. How much they can afford varies, but most surveys show that people are looking for weekend breaks that cost less than £200 per person. This provides the price point that many UK travel firms try to meet.

Without a doubt, Paris is a romantic city. It is not surprising that it is a popular Valentine’s Day destination, so naturally A1 travel could not leave the city off their list or romantic holidays.

They have negotiated a deal that allows a couple to travel to Paris on the 13^th of February from London Luton and spend two nights there. Couples who book the deal stay in the four star Astor St Honore Hotel on a bed and breakfast basis for just £198pp each. Again part of the package is a free river cruise.

All of these cities offer romantic places to eat out, but, naturally, over the Valentine’s weekend restaurants everywhere are busy.
