The restaurant has recently got one more reason to feel proud of – a classical artwork reminiscing the Italian renaissance painting, which further adds authenticity to the vibe and the aesthetics of the eatery.

The beautiful painting was presented by Mr August and Mrs Matty Schmid, who were going back to Austria after living in the UAE for over three decades, as a parting gift to the hotel where they had spent many happy moments during their long stay in the emirates. Since then the artwork is placed in Al Dente, their favourite restaurant in town.

The art work was chosen carefully, as it had to fit the décor of the place where it was to be exhibited. The Schmids did just that. They chose a piece, rich with treacly surroundings, ornate furniture and a laden table heavy with appetising offerings. These are sure to stimulate the tastebuds of the diners!
