STAR ALLIANCE COMPANY PLUS TRANSFERS TO PARTNERPLUSBENEFIT FOR GREATER SYNERGY
Industry: Airlines
Partner Plus Benefit

SACP have rebranded and relaunched to PPB

(TRAVPR.COM) UNITED KINGDOM - February 25th, 2014 - Clients of Star Alliance Company Plus will be aware that the programme has transferred to PartnerPlusBenefit earlier this year. Points that have been accumulated previously under the Star Alliance Company Plus programme will still be valid, and will be added to clients’ new BenefitPoints account. The change was rolled out on the 7th January 2014, with the move intended to enable the Company to better serve its customers through a united global image.

As members of PartnerPlusBenefit, clients will continue to enjoy the perks of the world’s most substantial and proven travel incentive programme, earning a growing number of benefits as a result of their partnership with the Company. In addition, they will enjoy a greater earning potential than ever before, now being awarded PlusPoints for flights on all the network’s carriers and in all booking classes, from first class right down to economy. Members booking Business or Premium Economy Class Air Canada flights departing from the UK or Ireland from February to July 2014 will also receive double BenefitPoints when signing up for the offer through their account.

PlusPoints continue to be redeemable for a wide selection of rewards such as VIP chauffeur car transfers, hotel eGiftcards, cashback, upgrades, flights, Purple Parking and the Heathrow Express. In addition, members can choose to help the environment by using their points to offset between 8.5t and 314t of CO² emissions – the latter being equivalent to running 1,800m² of air-conditioned office premises for a whole year. By donating their points to worthwhile causes, businesses can boost their corporate social responsibility programme at no additional cost.

The PartnerPlusBenefit scheme is targeted at businesses large and small who need to purchase airline tickets in the UK or Ireland. The UK has the second highest spend on business travel in Western Europe, and the Global Business Travel Association predicts that growth will have boomed to an annual 7.9% by 2017 with business travel accepted as an important catalyst for economic prosperity. Late last year a survey by Runzheimer International demonstrated that companies showing growth were investing almost twice as much on employee mobility than non-growth companies.

However, despite reports that recent growth in the business travel market has resulted from increased confidence and positive changes to the business environment, economic conditions remain difficult and companies are under increasing pressure to keep a close eye on their travel expenses. The cost of flights have been driven up in recent years by increases in taxes and high global oil prices, forcing businesses to take action in order to squeeze every penny out of their investment. Joining a travel incentive programme is the smartest way to keep expenses down and to take advantage of preferential corporate rates and benefits that would ordinarily only be available to larger high-spend companies. It is therefore unsurprising that PartnerPlusBenefit is the fastest growing business travel incentive programme of its kind.

It costs nothing to be a member of PartnerPlusBenefit and businesses that are not already a member of the scheme are missing out on significant savings and rewards, regardless of whether they make daily or occasional flights. The scheme is complementary to any existing frequent flyer programmes that participants may take part in, and members receive up to 1,500 PlusPoints points just for signing up - sufficient for a business class upgrade. Members benefit from the scheme whenever they book flights to one of more than 500 destinations using any of the ten leading airline companies – and they can expect further opportunities to earn bonus PlusPoints throughout the year.
