NHLRA schedules May 17-24, 2013 for Restaurant Week NH. Governor Hassan issues proclamation! Restaurants will offer special 3-course menus and lodging properties will offer stay & dine packages.
(TRAVPR.COM) USA - April 2nd, 2013 - Concord, NH – The New Hampshire Lodging and Restaurant Association has announced the dates for their 2nd Annual Statewide Restaurant Week in New Hampshire. The event will once again take place just prior to the Memorial Day weekend and serves as the unofficial kickoff to summer. Starting on Friday, May 17 and running through Friday, May 24, restaurants from all over the state will offer special 3-course menu offerings for lunch and dinner. The first annual event was an overwhelming success, with some 150 participating restaurants and lodging properties.
Any restaurant can participate by registering easily online at www.RestaurantWeekNH.com. Restaurants can sign up for as little as $150. Lodging properties are also encouraged to participate and offer stay and dine packages.
Governor Hassan supports this hospitality industry initiative with a proclamation stating that May 17-24, 2013 is Restaurant Week in New Hampshire. The event, funded in part by the Division of Travel and Tourism, was designed to call attention to the great culinary talent found in the Granite State, stating that “New Hampshire Chefs Rock!” Restaurant Week Celebrity Chefs will be announced and will provide tips and recipes on the Restaurant Week website, which will also feature special lunch and dinner menu options at great price points.
