(TRAVPR.COM) INDONESIA - March 2nd, 2013 - Nomad Divers Bangka is a new scuba diving resort on the beautiful island of Bangka, North Sulawesi, Indonesia. This tiny island offers incredible diving with dolphin sightings most mornings, a resident dugong, and the chance to spot some very rare species such as the pygmy seahorse, several types of frogfish, bumphead parrotfish, mandarin fish – it’s just incredible. And unlike its neighbours Bunaken and Lembeh, Bangka offers dive sites where you will not see other dive groups or any rubbish in the water.

Imagine a sandy beach, traditionally built Minahasan wooden bungalows with en-suite bathrooms and balconies, hammocks to relax in between dives, a beachside restaurant and bar and a small and friendly dive centre with experienced and knowledgeable dive guides.

We have four cottages so you will always have space to relax and chill out amongst the amazing nature that surrounds you, from the tarsiers and fireflies in the trees to the stunning birds and butterflies. Our focus is on slow diving and safety, and we carry oxygen on our boat as well as a first aid kit.
