CLASSIC HOLIDAYS AFFILIATION IMPACTS AUSTRALIAN RESORT MANAGERS
Industry: Resorts

The relationship between the Australian timeshare holiday provider and its managed resorts is having a significant impact on customer service levels.

(TRAVPR.COM) FL - March 1st, 2013 - Resorts managed by Australian timeshare holiday provider Classic Holidays are reporting high customer service numbers for January as the new year begins on an impressive note for the acclaimed resort management company.

Surveys from the month of January report satisfaction levels well above 90 percent when resort guests were asked if they would recommend the resort to family or friends and if they would return to that resort in the future.

For Gold Coast-based Cedar Lake Country Resort, an astounding 100 percent of those surveyed in January said they would return to or recommend the resort, with the resort receiving over 90 percent approval ratings for items such as unit maintenance, cleanliness, on-site amenities and efficiency of resort service staff.

“Classic Holidays is an extremely supportive, fun and creative group of hard working professionals; it’s like one big family. The company culture is one that can’t be matched. This is truly a company that puts people first, manages from the heart and cares for the community,” said Warren and Julie Lee, resort managers for Cedar Lake Country Resort.

At Don Pancho Beach Resort in Bargara, near Bundaberg, Qld, 91 percent of guests in January rated their holiday experience as exceeding their expectations. Resort managers attribute it to the relationship they have with Classic.

“They understand the challenges involved in running the resort and trying to keep people happy all the time and in trying to juggle normal family life in with the role. The staff we deal with at Classic are always helpful and bend over backwards to assist when we have a problem. Most recently during the tornados, flood and storms here in this area, I was in constant contact with Denise Price (Resort Operations Manager) who was so concerned for us all,” added Kelley and Craig Hutchinson, resort managers, Don Pancho.

Guests at Sandy Point Beach Resort, just north of Surfers Paradise, reported similar customer satisfaction numbers, with 92 percent saying they would return to the resort in future and 96 percent recommending it to friends or family.

“Classic is an extremely professional company and offers us as resort managers the support we need in all areas to be able to do our most important job- look after our owners and guests. Many of the daily tasks such as accounts, reservations and compliance is handled at head office by experts in that field so that we can focus on our guests. The company is always expanding, changing and evolving to be the best possible company it can. We are very proud to be part of Classic Holidays,” stated Julia and Steve Whitton, resort managers, Sandy Point Beach Resort.

In all, Classic Holidays manages 19 resorts and clubs across Australia and the company has provided its nearly 50,000 members with exceptional holidays for 35 years. For more information about Classic Holidays, please visit http://www.classicholidays.com.au/.
