Theatrebreaks.co.uk, the UK's leading provider of West End theatre breaks, is pleased to announce the availability of a range of family breaks in London for the Easter 2013 period.

(TRAVPR.COM) UNITED KINGDOM - February 21st, 2013 - family-run business, Theatrebreaks.co.uk, the UK's leading provider of West End theatre breaks, is pleased to announce the availability of a range of family breaks in London for the Easter 2013 period.

There are some great shows and plays to enjoy that are suitable for all the family.

Matilda The Musical

This is a funny and well-staged performance of the Roald Dahl classic that will have the whole family enthralled. It has a great musical score that you'll be singing along to for weeks. If you're looking for theatre and hotel packages for Matilda, there are hotels with family rooms close to the Cambridge Theatre for a value break. If you want to splash out on the occasion, there are some excellent four-star choices nearby.

Viva Forever

All Spice Girls fans planning Easter breaks in London shouldn't miss out on the fabulous Viva Forever at the Piccadilly Theatre. With catchy tunes from the most successful girl band ever, this show offers something for the whole family. It follows the characters as they compete in a reality-TV show and will catch the imagination of all celebrity wannabes. If you want to see this feel-good tale, then why not make a weekend of it and find a hotel nearby?

The Lion King

This Disney classic has been running for over 13 years and is an excellent choice for family theatre breaks. It's won a number of accolades, thanks in part to its spectacular scenery, effects and music. Together they bring the African landscape to life and will have children of all ages fascinated. The tale of Simba the lion cub is well known, but if you've never seen it before it's well worth the trip. The Lyceum Theatre is perfectly situated for all the tourist attractions and accommodation located around Covent Garden.

The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time

If you're looking for something a bit different for your Easter breaks in London, why not try the National Theatre's adaptation of Mark Haddon's novel? The play at the Apollo Theatre tells the story of a 15-year-old maths genius ill-equipped to understand everyday life and who has to strive to prove his innocence when his neighbour's dog is found dead. As guests will be in the middle of London's theatre district, there's a good choice of luxury and mid-range accommodation in the vicinity to make this an extra-special break.

ABOUT THE FAMILY WHO KNOW ABOUT FAMILY BREAKS

This family-run theatre-loving business at theatrebreaks.co.uk has been promoting London's theatreland as a destination for short breaks for 33 years.
