(TRAVPR.COM) MALDIVES - January 16th, 2013 - A new Resort Manager has been appointed for the award-winning resort, Baros Maldives. He is Mr Ahmed Shuhan, a Maldivian, born and brought up on an island in the southern Maldivian atoll of Addu.
Shuhan studied in Malaysia where he obtained a Degree in Hotel Management. He began his career on Baros with the opening of the newly rebuilt resort in 2006 as a Human Resources Assistant. He soon moved to the front office, advancing to Front Office Manager. He became the resort’s Executive Assistant Manager in 2012.
Shuhan’s appointment as Resort Manager is in keeping with the emphasis that Baros Maldives places on creating a uniquely Maldivian approach to holiday hospitality. His knowledge of Baros gives him a deep understanding of guest expectations and requirements for the perfect holiday. He sees Baros as one of the best private island resorts in the Maldives, and aims to build on the personalised service standards that are its hallmark to make a stay at Maldives an even better experience.
