Iconic Rocky Point Hotel Showcases 10,000 Square Feet in Event Space
TAMPA, Fla. (February 3rd, 2026) – Having recently completed a property-wide refresh, The Westin Tampa Bay is ushering in a new era of wedding experience. With upgraded interiors, enhanced event spaces, and a renewed modern-coastal design, the hotel will soon offer an even more elevated setting for weddings ranging from 30 to 160 guests.
From a rooftop reception at sunset to a beachfront ceremony, couples can choose from a variety of indoor and outdoor venues designed to elevate every moment. The hotel’s most popular space, BluVu Rooftop & Terrace, located on the 16th floor, features 2,700 sq ft of stunning bay views, paired with a 1,200 sq ft terrace ideal for vows and cocktail hours. It is unlike any other venue in Tampa. The BluVu Rooftop can accommodate up to 100 guests with seating for all and a dance floor, or 150 for a cocktail style reception with a stunning rooftop ceremony space on the BluVu Terrace. The Beach Terrace offers a relaxed and scenic outdoor setting with space for up to 160 guests for a waterfront ceremony, with the reception to follow in the Caribbean Ballroom. For a more traditional celebration, theCaribbean Ballroom boasts 3,200 sq ft of floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the water, comfortably seating up to 160 guests for receptions.
All interior meeting spaces have undergone complete renovations featuring new carpet, wall coverings, window treatments, and updated lighting. The renovation of the Conference Center on the 7th floor was completed in September 2025, with BluVu Rooftop finishing shortly after in October.
Each event is supported by expert planning services, globally inspired catering, and flexible wedding packages. Couples enjoy access to custom menus, group room blocks, a variety of bar options, and a complimentary suite with champagne on their wedding night (minimum spend required). A private get-ready room is also included on the day of the event, and tastings are scheduled approximately three months before the big day.
