Launch of historic 'Home from Home' just minutes from Dublin

This month a new web site is launched to showcase Luttrellstown Castle and its facilities. Setting the scene with a series of wide screen images the new web site beckons the viewer to explore further. Once inside the visitor has all the information needed to help plan a successful business event, a family gathering or wedding celebration. Images of the public spaces, the 12 luxury bedrooms, activities and photo gallery all help to reflect the character and atmosphere of Luttrellstown Castle.

Over the years many high profile individuals have spent time at Luttrellstown Castle including Queen Victoria, Prince Rainier and Princess Grace of Monaco, Fred Astaire, Douglas Fairbanks and Ronald Reagan. More recently Paul Newman and the pop group REM have made themselves at home in the castle. Luttrellstown was at the centre of media attention when Victoria and David Beckham were married there in 1999.

As well as being ideal for meetings and private functions, Luttrellstown Castle has proven itself very popular as a film location. The new web site contains clips from feature films and television programmes in which the Castle has been featured - notably the Australian X Factor Series featuring Ronan Keating and 'Honeymoon for One' starring Nicolette Sheridan and Greg Wise

During October over sixty travel trade and events organisers gathered at Luttrellstown Castle to mark the Castle's launch as one of Ireland's exclusive use venues. At the launch Chief Executive Colm Hannon is quoted as saying: "Our policy of total flexibility and customer care enables guests to feel completely at home here in the Castle.
