DirectRooms.com reveals that the awards ceremonies for all students graduating from Bristol University of the West of England (UWE) will be taking place from the middle of November this year.

(TRAVPR.COM) THAILAND - October 6th, 2011 - The UWE November Awards Ceremonies are for postgraduate students that have completed their course either in February, June or September. Foundation degree students as well as research degree students and undergraduates, who have been given confirmation by the award board from 1st July to 14th September, are also being invited to attend.

The degrees and other awards will be handed out from 14th to 24th November 2011 and each day will be split depending on the faculty, with students from the faculty of health and life sciences the first to receive their honours.

All the award ceremonies will take place at Bristol Cathedral and afterwards a reception will be held opposite the cathedral where alumni can meet with their friends and tutors. A professional photographer will also be available on each day to take pictures of graduates in their robes within the cathedral.

Students can also sign up for a DVD of the whole ceremony and as a special feature for graduation students can donate to plant a ‘Degree Tree’. The plantings are part of a project in Malawi where fruit trees are being cultivated to offset the paper used by students and to provide food for the local communities.
