Malawi's Beautiful Thawale Camp Upgraded!

(TRAVPR.COM) UK - September 20th, 2011 - Malawi’s Thawale Camp has had an impressive upgrade. All its delightful tents have had their old wooden decks removed and larger more attractive stone decks laid. Sumptuous new mattresses, high-quality linens, pillows, towels, cushions and lamps now adorn every room and all tents have specifically built screening made of stone, bamboo and wooden poles between the tents to ensure privacy.

Ambient spotlights have been installed along all the paths for the guests to see when walking at night along with stronger lights at the water hole for illuminating animals at night.

The lapa/restaurant now has new furnishing – wooden chandeliers, rugs, new cushion coverings – a truly welcoming place after a long day. Importantly, the restaurant now benefits from an entirely new bar with two drinks coolers and a wide range of wines and spirits on offer.

The restaurant’s chefs have also undertaken fresh training in International cuisine which is now on offer on a comprehensive set menu. A new veranda has been built extending onto the lapa/restaurant, with lounge furniture and a fire pit. This is an atmospheric space for guests to sit in the evening and relax.
