EXOTISSIMO BRINGS THE GLORY OF IMPERIAL VIETNAM TO GUESTS WITH ITS HUE ESSENTIAL TOUR
Industry: Travel Offers

Hue in Central Vietnam was once the seat of the Nguyen Dynasty. Exotissimo takes guests on a journey through the town’s and Empire’s glory, exploring various sites as well the Emperors’ tombs.

(TRAVPR.COM) THAILAND - August 11th, 2011 - A UNESCO Heritage Site, Hue continues to display its proud Imperial heritage. Exotissimo Travel is proud to present a comprehensive program to the Central Vietnam town, highlighting its proud history and showcasing the charm the town is known for.

The Citadel serves as the start and orientation of the Hue program. The site is expansive with a collection of temples, pavilions, moats, walls, gates and museums. The complex itself has gone through many ordeals and wars, but remains proudly intact and retains its grace and majesty.

Hue, a city of wide boulevards and historical buildings set in a picture-postcard landscape will also be explored. A cyclo ride along town to Tinh Tam Lake, one of the Emperors’ favorite relaxing spots will surely make the exploration and sightseeing experience.

“This Hue Essential package is aimed at bringing as much of the Nguyen Dynasty to visitors as possible,” said Sameer Poonja, Director of E-Commerce at Exotissimo. “Although one has to literally take a time machine and head back in time in order to fully experience Imperial Vietnam, this tour comes close to emulating that experience.”

Hue is famously known for the Nguyen Dynasty’s emperor’s elaborate mausoleums. After visiting Thien Mu Pagoda, guests will depart to the Mausoleum of Tu Duc. Built decades before its occupant's death, the mausoleum was used as a palace retreat before its final use as the emperor's resting place. Also included is Khai Dinh's Tomb which is traditional Vietnamese in design with a European touch, making it unique from the others.

The romantically named Perfume River will serve as the path for guests in between certain destinations. During the fall season, flowers falling into the river actually give the river an aromatic scent.
