The Olo-olaimutek Village.

The rural village of Olo-olaimutek is located one kilometre outside the Masai Mara Entrance gate of oloolaimutia.The community is working hard towards sustainable livelihoods and protection and preservation of their natural resourses,culture and traditional way of living.

Enchoro Wildlife Camp is offering tourists with various touristic tour programs specially the groups where they are taken on cultural touring programs to learn more about the traditional way of life of Masai People,and the challenges that they face in a changing environment.

During your cultural tour with enchoro safari camp ,you will spend time walking from home to home ie Masai villages known as manyattas within a village.There you will meet with the village “Headman” a masai spokesperson and or the village Medicine man.

The women will show you how they grind maize to make maize flour a staple of their diet as supplemented with meat.

On the other hand the young men known as the Morans will demonstrate how to light fire with sticks at home or while in the bush.Women and children are enthutiastic to demonstrate some of their traditional dances joined by the morans(young men).
