(TRAVPR.COM) UK - May 13th, 2011 - London – Whether you are planning a trip to Asia, if you’ve already been and fallen in love with the land of smiles, or you have always dreamed of an oriental adventure, Kaya’s free Cultural Day at SOAS University, London will give you a great insight into what to expect from this fascinating country. This great cultural event will be taking place on Friday 27th May from 10:30-16:00 at The School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), Russell Square, London.

The Kaya team is very excited to be running this event collaboratively with staff from SOAS. With the specialized knowledge of the University professors, Thailand’s exquisite culture is sure to be brought to life. SOAS is a unique institution specialising in the study of Asia, Africa and the Middle East. The Department of South East Asia is the only department in a UK university which is dedicated to the study of this captivating part of the world.

The itinerary for the day promises an assortment of sessions, including Thai cultural, language and Buddhism taster classes, given by senior lecturers and professors, and a video presentation from Kaya discussing some of the deeper social and environmental issues which face the people of Thailand today. Free refreshments and a light lunch will be laid on for all.
