VISA-VIETNAM.ORG DECLARES
Industry: Visas

Visa-Vietnam.Org says, "Vietnam is now ready to grant 1 year visa to U.S. citizens on their travels or conference trips to the Southeast Asian country."

(TRAVPR.COM) VIETNAM - October 3rd, 2016 - According to a new agreement signed between the Vietnamese and US governments, Vietnamese and US citizens will be granted with 12-month, multiple-entry visas to travel temporarily for business or tourism. Based on the arrangement, Vietnam will issue multiple-entry Vietnam tourist visas valid for up to one year to U.S. citizens who wish to travel for short-term business or tourism and who otherwise meet the requirements to enter Vietnam, the embassy said.

The number of U.S. tourists coming to Vietnam annually is expected to rise to one million next year, according to tourism ministry. Vietnam attracted nearly 500,000 U.S. travelers last year, 10 percent higher than the year before and received about 386,000 U.S. arrivals during the first eight months of this year, 15 percent up from the same period last year, government statistics show. Since revenues from tourism services contribute around 6 percent to Vietnam's gross domestic product, the government, in an attempt to attract more foreign tourists, has offered visa exemptions with single-entry visits to the citizens of some countries including Germany, France, Italy, Spain and the United Kingdom.

Substantiating the above stated, the spokesperson from Visa-Vietnam.Org stated, "The new visa policy granted to U.S. citizens is also supposed to draw more tourists to Vietnam." He also stated, "The Vietnamese government has implemented a new visa regulation for US citizen based on the successful commitment of the U.S. and Vietnam to improve the bilateral relationship by expanding trade and economic opportunities and developing people-to-people links."

He also continued, "This new visa rule applies to both business and tourist visa and it came into existence since September 6th, 2016 with the fee being $200. This new policy introduces a 1-year multiple entry visa and replaces all previous types of visa (30-day tourism/business, single entry/multiple entry)."

Visitors entering Vietnam for the first time under the new regulations will now require an application visa letter and a stamping fee of $135 to be paid at the airport for visa on arrival.  The visa will be valid up to 1 year with multiple entries. Visitors are allowed to stay maximum 3 months per entry.  Visitors who enter Vietnam multiple times during the year need only to show the previous passport stamps or other relevant documentation at Vietnam immigration. The new regulations are for US citizens entering Vietnam for tourism, workshops, conferences, personal business, work with agencies or organizations.

"If you're looking to apply 1 year Vietnam Visa, you can contact us and apply visa online! On arrival at airport of Vietnam, you will see visa on arrival office, hand over your passport, print copy of visa approval and one passport size photo. And then pay $25 for stamping fee for Single Entry or $50 for multiple entries and get back passport with visa. Check out airport and enjoy your trip in Vietnam. We are here to make your travel easier," the spokesperson concluded finally.
