Spend a week walking a section of the GR11 in the Pyrenees

(TRAVPR.COM) UNITED KINGDOM - April 27th, 2011 - In late August and early September 2011 Collett's Mountain Holidays is offering you the chance to walk 5 consecutive stages of the awe-inspiring GR11 high in the Pyrenees.

Your base for 5 nights will be the delightful 3* Hotel Sabocos in Panticosa, but you will also spend one night at the dramatic Refugio Respomuso and one night in the picturesque village of Torla, gateway to the Ordesa and Monte Perdido National Park.

The itinerary is specifically designed so that you can enjoy the high mountain wilderness of a world-renowned route, whilst being able to return each evening (bar two) to the comforts of the Hotel Sabocos, where a hot shower, a cold beer and a delicious three course evening meal (with wine included) await you.

Each day (except Wednesday, your rest day) a dedicated Collett's Walk Organiser will take care of your transport to and from the GR11 as well as provide you with a hearty packed lunch. Our price of £699 per person (based on two people sharing a double or twin room) will include all your transport on walk days together with an airport transfer at the start and end of your walking holiday.
