INDEPENDENCE DAY IS A BLAST IN NEW HAMPSHIRE

Celebrate this 4th of July at one of New Hampshire’s many attractions including Waterville Valley Resort, the M/S Mount Washington, the Cog, Ski, the Currier Museum of Art and much more.

(TRAVPR.COM) USA - June 21st, 2016 - New Hampshire- Celebrate this 4th of July at one of New Hampshire’s many attractions including Waterville Valley Resort, the M/S Mount Washington, the Cog, Ski, the Currier Museum of Art and much more.

In Waterville Valley the festivities begin on Saturday, July 2. A Family Carnival is on Saturday from 12 a.m. to 4 p.m. with games, T-Shirt tie-dying, an obstacle course, bounce house and live music for the whole family.  On Sunday, July 3rd the Skateboard Camp Week kicks off with day and overnight sessions are for 12-17. Additionally, starting at 10 p.m. an expert Naturalist will talk about Animals with Bad Reputations. On Monday the 4th, at 11 a.m. starts the independence Parade, where everyone is welcome to walk, stand along the streets, help with a float, or enter a float. Waterville will host its own fireworks’ show at 9:30 p.m.  Additional family activities and concerts will be happening throughout the weekend. Climb aboard the M/S Mount Washington this 4th of July for an evening of food, fun and fireworks. Every Independence Day the M/S Mount Washington captures the fireworks display over Lake Winnipesaukee created by the lake’s community members. Enjoy the scenic three-hour cruise featuring live music and dance. Tickets are $55 and include dinner. The ship departs Weirs Beach at 7 p.m. and returns around 10 p.m. after the Meredith fireworks. Discover what the NH Mountains have to offer to celebrate the holyday. Bretton Woods is hosting its 8th Annual Salute to Freedom, from Friday, July 1 through Monday July 4, at the Omni Mount Washington Resort. Moreover, the Gunstock Craft Fair will be held on Saturday, July 2 and Sunday, July 3 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day at Gunstock Mountain in Gilford, NH. Mount Sunapee will have a New England Clam Bake complete with littleneck clams, lobster and corn-on-the-cob on the patio of the Sunapee Lodge with live entertainment. For those needing more adventure, on Sunday, July 3 Loon Mountain is set to host the "Most Competitive Hillclimb" by Runner's World Magazine, where athletes will have to climb 2,100 vertical feet in less than six miles.
