An update from Luwawa ForestLodge.

(TRAVPR.COM) ENGLAND - April 7th, 2011 - Luwawa Forest Lodge specialise in hiking trails, mountain biking, bird watching, team building and entertaining schoolgroups, however, many other activities are also available. In addition, they are an ideal stop over location for Nyika.

The Lodge have just opened a new, completely self-contained, cottage. The cottage comprises of two en-suite bedrooms, a kitchen, utility room, dining room and lounge, with a tasteful open fire to finish it off. The rack rate is $160 per night for the whole cottage, which sleeps 5.

The original self-catering cottage sleeps 4 in one family bedroom, with all the facilities of the new cottage and is $140 per night. The two cottages are not on their website yet, however, the cottages are open and ready to be filled! A third new cottage is in line for the near future. On a more active note, the Luwawa International Mountain Bike race 2011, has been given full international approval by the UCI in Switzerland and is fast approaching. It is due to take place on the 11th of June, so if you want to enter, get your skates on!
