(TRAVPR.COM) UK - March 31st, 2011 - Fire PR has been appointed on a retained basis by luxury travel company Adventures In The Alps. The consumer consultancy has been called in to handle media relations, celebrity liaison, promotional activity, advertising and social media.

Adventures in the Alps is owned and managed by Pip Watkins, former Scottish PR and Sponsorship Manager at Orange UK. Based in the French Alps, the company provides all year round fitness retreats and activity holidays for the whole family.  It offers clients the unique opportunity to go on holiday and train alongside sporting heroes. International sporting stars Sally Gunnell, Sharron Davies, Dean Macey, Christine Hemphill, Liz Yelling, Daffyd James and Yanto Barker will all be hosting retreats for the company throughout the summer season this year.
