Travel team get battered and bruised during Tough Mudder
The C&M Travel Recruitment team has braved 11 miles of ice, mud and electric shocks to raise £4,360 for charity.
Nine members of the London team pushed their boundaries and gained cuts and bruises last weekend by completing the Tough Mudder assault course at Matterley Bowl in Winchester to raise money for a great charity - Macmillan Cancer Support.
The charity was chosen as a result of many of the team having been affected directly or indirectly by cancer. Most recently, one of our C&M Executive Recruitment colleagues, Gary Molloy, was diagnosed and has found Macmillan to be a huge support to both himself and his family.
The team now counting their bruises from the challenge includes C&M’s Chairman Angus Chisholm and Director Barbara Kolosinska, as well as members of C&M Executive Recruitment including its Manager Tim Robinson.
Barbara Kolosinska, Director at C&M Travel Recruitment and C&M Executive Recruitment, said: “Supporting our families and colleagues by fundraising for various charities is something that’s precious to all of us at C&M and it has enabled us to raise money for some amazing causes, but this time it was a bit closer to home for us all.
“Macmillan Cancer Support has been a great source of help and support for Gary over the past few months and we are all delighted to be able to donate so much money to them.
“The Tough Mudder is exactly that – very tough and very muddy! But it was also utterly exhilarating and I’m so proud of the team for helping each other get across the finish line.”
