Waterville Valley Resort is holding their annual End of Summer Dash & Bash for families on Saturday and Sunday, September 5-6th in Town Square. The fun starts on Saturday with a bounce house and live music. Then Sunday is full of family activities, more free concerts, and the annual charity Just Ducky rubber duck race on Corcoran Pond. The owners of the fastest three ducks win a cash prize. The M/S Mount Washington is hosting a Labor Day weekend full of cruising activities. Saturday, September 5 from 6-9 p.m. is the Labor Day Lobsterfest departing from Weirs Beach. Guests can enjoy fresh Maine lobster and live music accompanied by sunset views of the lake. On Sunday, September 6, families are invited to enjoy the Labor Day Family Party cruise, which departs from Weirs Beach at 5 p.m. and returns at 7 p.m. Adult tickets are $48, youth tickets are $38 (ages 13-16) and children 12 and under are free (limit two per family; children 4 and under are always free). Tickets include a two-hour cruise on Lake Winnipesaukee, a Sunday dinner with turkey and all the trimmings, and live entertainment. The Mount Washington Cog Railway climbs New England’s highest peak and gives guests an unforgettable adventure. Purchase early tickets to ride the morning steam train at 9:15 a.m., or catch a ride on the biodiesel train, which runs throughout the weekend from 9:30 a.m. until 5:30 p.m.

White Mountain Attractions offers one-stop planning for one more long-weekend of activities for the family.
