Waterville Valley, NH – Always a popular destination as Massachusetts and New Hampshire schools take the next two weeks off, Waterville Valley Resort will host a number of events in addition to their regular activities for their influx of guests. On Sunday, February 15th, comedian Bob Marley returns to the Waterville Valley Conference Center. On Saturday, February 21st, Burton brings their Party In Your Park series to the slopes of Waterville and that evening the Sunnyside Timberlodge hosts its final Starry Nights dinner of the year.

Comedian Bob Marley returns to the Waterville Valley Conference Center on Sunday night. Bob has been coming to Waterville for nearly a decade and it remains one of the most popular events of the season. He’s been touring the country for 18 years and has been featured on his own Comedy Central special as well as nearly every show on the late-night circuit.

In its second year, Burton’s Party In Your Park series comes to Waterville Valley Resort for the first time. It will consist of a brand new setup in the park on Exhibition and uses a very unique 3-team format. “We’re excited to have Burton back at Waterville Valley Resort,” said Events Manager Jamie Cobbett. “Having a team event like this is an exciting change of pace from the standard rail jams and individual formats that have become the industry standard.”

Saturday night will also give skiers and snowboarders a chance to experience an evening on the mountain for Starry Nights. Guests head up the Valley Run Quad to the Sunnyside Timberlodge for drinks and entertainment, followed by a gourmet meal, and ending with a torchight parade down Valley Run. “It’s been a really popular event the last few years,” said CEO/General Manager Chris Sununu. “We’re really glad it continues to be a special event that gives even long time Valley-goers a new experience on the mountain.”

Tickets for these events can be purchased on waterville.com. In addition, Waterville Valley Resort can be counted on for its après, tubing, ice skating, dogsled and sleigh rides, and Saturday night fireworks. The Rey Center is also hosting their annual Valentine’s Day Gala on February 14th.
