DOMINICAN REPUBLIC INTERNATIONAL SURF CHAMPIONSHIP 2014

Saturday 18th July 2014, around a hundred international athletes will participate in the "Barahona International Surf Championship 2014", which will stage the beautiful beach of Bahoruco, in Barahona, Dominican Republic.

(TRAVPR.COM) UK - July 17th, 2014 - Saturday 18th  July 2014, around a hundred international athletes will participate in the "Barahona International Surf Championship 2014", which will stage the beautiful beach of Bahoruco, in Barahona,  Dominican Republic.

 The geographical position and the wind direction over Bahoruco beaches are characterized by the organisers as ideal for surfers and ensure that this is the perfect setting for a competition of this nature.

"Barahona International Surf Championship" will be played in the following categories: Mini-Junior, Junior, Ladies Open, Ladies Masters (35 and over), Open, Masters (35-44 years) and Kahuna (45 years and older ).

 The tournament starts on Saturday July 19 with the participation of all competitors in different categories. On Sunday at the same time competition continues with the semi-final and final to conclude the award ceremony.

 Sportsmen and visitors enjoy a great tournament; while people may know the Bahoruco, a village of fishermen and miners Larimar, a special place to buy handicrafts made of this native stone and native cuisine Barahona fruit jams as the site of the Cooperative Women the Swamp.
