Dubbed ‘Lai Huea Fai’, it reflects the magical lantern festival that marks the end of Buddhist Lent. The route will lead runners past the UNESCO World Heritage Site’s iconic attractions, from Phousi Hill, by royal palaces and past many of the city’s fabled temples.

This year, entry fees and all other funds raised during the event are dedicated to support Friends Without A Border to develop, build and operate the Lao Friends Hospital for Children in conjunction with the Luang Prabang Provincial Hospital and the Lao Health Department.
