The company’s motto is “helping local farmers through trade,” and the company believes Malawi as a country should be helped through trade, Malawi should export more products to the UK and more importantly local farmers and tradesmen should be rewarded for their hard work.

Malawi Delights say they see trade as a vital key to rectifying economic injustice, and believe trade can create international networks of people who work to develop their skills, their resources and their communities; and through trade they can work their way out of poverty, develop economically, educationally and politically.

Local people and business in Malawi do not have access to the global market, Malawi Delights aims to offer suppliers free and fair access to the UK markets, but cannot offer that access and help as a charity as it is expensive, hence the formation of Malawi Delights as a limited company with a focus on fair trade.
