The Asia Fitness Convention will be holding their 2012 gathering at the Dusit Thani Hotel in Pattaya, Thailand, from 19th October to 21st October.

(TRAVPR.COM) UK - October 16th, 2012 - The mission of the Asia Fitness Convention is to gather together a variety of sports professionals and amateur enthusiasts in order to celebrate and learn more about health and fitness issues as they apply to the world of sport. Physical education teachers, as well as fitness instructors and sports coaches are welcome, as is anyone with an abiding interest in sports or exercise.

This year's programme is scheduled to include not only 120 separate sessions taking place during the three days of the convention itself, but also 20 sessions before, or after, the event. These ‘before or after’ sessions are of several different types, so convention participants are encouraged to investigate them and adjust their hotel stay as needed.

On Thursday night, there will be a special session known as ‘Plan Your AFC.’ Led by Lawrence Biscontini, this session is particularly intended for participants who may be new to the Asia Fitness Convention, and is designed to assist them to get as much as possible from their time in Pattaya.

The Asia Fitness Convention is a far cry from the type of staid convention that requires participants to sit about in conference rooms for hours at a time. Convention sessions will instead be held in a variety of locations designed to stimulate fitness issues; these include the beach, the hotel's tennis courts, and even in the pool.

More than 40 presenters will be arriving from locations worldwide to help convention participants to improve their knowledge and skills in the area of physical fitness. There will also be three competitions for participants, including the coveted title of AFC 2012 Fitness Idol.
