Wilderness Safaris are the proud hosts of the three day music festival Moon-Rock; a celebration of talent, featuring artists, DJ’s and bands from across Malawi.
(TRAVPR.COM) UNITED KINGDOM - September 21st, 2012 - Wilderness Safaris are the proud hosts of the three day music festival Moon-Rock; a celebration of talent, featuring artists, DJ’s and bands from across Malawi, with part of the proceeds going to an environmental educational and life skills programme, “Children of the Wilderness” run under the patronage of Wilderness Safaris and other sponsors.
Mr Chris Badger, Managing Director of Wilderness Safaris, said, “It’s fantastic for us to bring a high quality music festival highlighting home grown Malawian Talent!”
The current line-up for the Moon-Rock Festival includes Peter Mawanga and the Amaravi Movement, Mafilika, Body Mind and Soul, Music band, Konkalazi band, Sally Nyundo, Young Chilaga and the Black Survivors band, Mark Haze and the 12th Avenue Band and many more!
Tickets for the festival are MK 15,000 for three day entry or MK 10,000 for one day entry and are available at the Wilderness Head Office in Lilongwe and Blantyre. Tickets will also be available at the gate. The Moon-Rock promotional team will be carrying out a series of promos in Lilongwe, Blantyre and Mzuzu. The festival will run from 12th – 15th October at the Chintheche Inn, Northern Lakeshore.
Moon Rock Festival, Yacht Charter
