(TRAVPR.COM) GERMANY - September 17th, 2012 - This luxurious holiday home, which newly opened in August 2012, is situated on top of 2600-year-old Etruscan caves and a beautiful Roman water cistern with hanging gardens.

The rental house has three bedrooms, all with private baths, a study with extra beds, two kitchens, one inside the house and one in a cave opening onto the formal Italian garden, an outdoor living room and a gazebo with barbecue for outdoor dining for 10 people.

There is a heated pool inside one of the largest caves and a unique wine cellar for guests inside the roman water cistern. All the other caves (9 in total) are devoted to art installations and storage.

Civita di Bagnoregio is wonderfully isolated, peaceful and romantic. A place to indulge the essence of Italian life: eat, drink, repeat... But it is also a perfect base from which to explore the beautiful surroundings. The town is located between Perugia and Rome and about 20 minutes away from Orvieto with its famous Gothic cathedral.

The home is available for rent through Welcome Beyond. Rates start at EURO 2.300 per week on a self-catering basis and sleeping up to 8 people.
