The Catalonian capital of Barcelona is slated to host an event most aptly described as the world's very first comedy festival to have adopted a multilingual format.

(TRAVPR.COM) UK/SPAIN - September 17th, 2012 - The festival will take place over the course of four weeks, with shows presented in English, Dutch and Swedish among other languages. Comedy acts will use a variety of venues in Barcelona, with some events being presented to the public free of charge.

Among the many comedic styles on display will be improvisation, stand-up, mime, storytelling and clown. Programme organisers even hope to add a short motion picture event to the festivities, which are scheduled to last from 27th September to 21st October.
