Guests will be picked up and taken on an afternoon drive, followed by a stunning destination for sun-down drinks and snacks. Throughout the drive, guests will discover new experiences from a range of nocturnal animals! You will witness nocturnal birds, hippos grazing by the Shire River, and may even spot one of the newly introduced leopards or lions!

New Half Board Prices Available at Thawale Lodge!
We are also pleased to announce that a ‘half board’ option is now available at the Thawale Lodge. Prices start from $86, which includes dinner and breakfast. Situated in Majete Wildlife Reserve, in the Lower Shire Valley, Thawale Lodge offers six double and twin tented chalets, all en-suite and each with its own private veranda overlooking the waterhole. Thawale Lodge is a peaceful haven from which to experience Majete. Completely unfenced, the camp is regularly visited by wildlife.
