DirectRooms.com announces that the city of Phnom Penh will showcase the country’s first trade show for the hotel, restaurant and catering industry

(TRAVPR.COM) THAILAND - August 16th, 2010 - Taking place for three days from 21st to 23rd October 2010, CamHotel will be an exhibition of the latest products, facilities and systems available to hotels and food establishments in Cambodia.

Companies exhibiting at the show include those responsible for point of sale systems, foodservice equipment and supplies as well as front office management systems. Suppliers and distributors of industry items such as tableware and cutlery, cold room equipment and conference management systems will also be in attendance.

The show will be hosted by the Cambodia Hotel Association and has started this year as a result of the rising number of new hotels and guesthouses opening across the country. In recent years Cambodia has seen rapid growth in the number of tourists visiting places like the world famous Angkor Wat in Siem Reap.

There are now over 60 star rated hotels in Cambodia most of which can be found in Siem Reap and there is increasing growth in hotels Phnom Penh.

Due to the number of industry stakeholders expected to attend the event, hotels closest to the exhibition centre are likely to see an increase in demand for rooms.
