Announcing Travel Writing Contest: Grand Prize is Trip to Hawaii

For Immediate Release Seattle, WA, August 1, 2012 – The Wanderlust and Lipstick women’s adventure travel website just announced its new Travel Writing contest for 2012, this time with a twist: Entries must be about the Aloha State. Fittingly, the Grand Prize is a 5-night stay (with fantastic extras) at the Waikoloa Beach Marriott Resort & Spa on Hawaii, the Big Island, a $3,282 value.
Entrants are asked to write a non-fiction travel story that takes place anywhere in the state of Hawaii, or is about Hawaii, and the story must fit into one of three categories: Earth, Sea, or Sky. Entries will be accepted between August 1st and September 14th, 2012 at 11:59pm PST.
The three best-in-category winners will receive a prize of a pair of La Paz Sandals from Keen Footwear, valued between $60-$70. The contest is sponsored by the Big Island Visitors Bureau.
