The mad rush for tickets to get on board the Royal Rajasthan on Wheels continues as most tickets are the train is sold out for its first departure.

(TRAVPR.COM) DELHI - August 4th, 2012 - Royal Rajasthan on Wheels, one of the flagship Indian Luxury Trains, has almost sold out for its Christmas and New Year’s Tours. The train embarks on this season’s maiden voyage on October 7 and bookings are now open.  With a little more than a couple of months to go before the train is flagged off from the Safdarjung Railway Station, New Delhi, the reservation counters are working overtime to accommodate the impending booking requests from visitors far and wide.

During the course of its 8 day journey, Royal Rajasthan on Wheels Tour visits 8 different destinations. The luxury train is famous for its on-board facilities and dedicated staff services. The train has seen a seesaw of changes with the ongoing power row between power row between Rajasthan Tourism Development Corporation (RTDC) chief Randeep Dhankar and Tourism and Forest Minister Bina Kak. The case in contention is the route of the train, which the latter has advocated changes in. The matter is subjudice and government has decided to intervene to break the deadlock.

Disputes aside, the train provides for a wonderful sojourn for foreign tourists wishing to explore the sights and sounds of India and its diverse cultures. The train will run on its scheduled course on the designated date and is expected to run full on its departure.
