The Raven Brothers Launch Travel Video sharing site.
(TRAVPR.COM) UK - July 11th, 2012 - The latest brain child of travel writers, the Raven Brothers, tripsideways.com goal is to showcase the best hand-picked travel video of your planet from passionate amateurs and professionals, to explorers, photographers and documentary film makers from National Geographic, the BBC and Discovery Channel.
Authors of the ‘Ravens on the Road’ travel book trilogy, Chris Raven and Simon Raven, have been trawling planet Earth for the past decade documenting new travel routes.
‘There’s so much great amateur and professional travel video footage of our planet floating around cyberspace,’ said Chris, ‘but it’s lost in the sheer volume of content on the net. Our aim at tripsideways.com is to highlight the good stuff, and help encourage people to share their world and travel experiences through video.’
‘One of our main categories on tripsideways.com is Your World,’ said Simon. ‘There are some incredibly talented amateur film makers out there, from across the globe, shooting some intriguing footage. By using social networking sites like facebook and twitter, our goal is to take this footage to a much greater audience.’
