Authors of the ‘Ravens on the Road’ travel book trilogy, Chris Raven and Simon Raven, have been trawling planet Earth for the past decade documenting new travel routes.

‘There’s so much great amateur and professional travel video footage of our planet floating around cyberspace,’ said Chris, ‘but it’s lost in the sheer volume of content on the net. Chris Raven started his career as a fashion and celebrity photographer in London, before turning his attention to the exotic world of travel writing and photography. With a passion for road trips, Chris has driven all across the globe in old cars from the UK to Vladivostok and Damascus in Syria to Montenegro, Sicily, the Arctic Circle and the North Cape in Norway. He has also documented many destinations in India, Europe, Southeast Asia and South America. Born in England, Simon Raven graduated from the London Institute in 1996. After working as an online news editor and journalist, he left to freelance as a travel writer and photographer.
