EMIRATES TO GO ALL-A380 TO HEATHROW

Emirates has confirmed it is moving to all A380 flights at Heathrow by next February.

(TRAVPR.COM) LONDON UK - July 9th, 2012 - This comes after the airline’s boss in London earlier this revealed to TTGthat more A380 services would be introduced to the UK in the coming months.

All five of Emirates’ five daily Heathrow flights will be served by superjumbo aircraft. In total, the airline will be operating 42 A380 flights to the UK each week.

“Due to high customer demand for the A380 product, soon, travellers to and from London Heathrow will be able to enjoy our flagship aircraft on every flight,” said Salem Obaidalla, Emirates’ senior vice president, commercial operations, Europe & Russian Federation.

“Our customers will also have a greater chance of an all-A380 experience when travelling across our network between London, Dubai and places such as Bangkok, Beijing, Tokyo, Sydney, and from October 1, Melbourne,” he added.

Emirates first introduced the A380 to Heathrow in December 2008.
