Leading holiday villa specialist Solmar Villas announces that it has already sold 99% of its Summer 2010 rental inventory - in contrast to just 74% for Summer 2009

(TRAVPR.COM) UNITED KINGDOM - 21st July, 2010 - Solmar Villas are set to announce a record breaking year with 99% of their holiday rental portfolio already booked for this summer. This represents a significantly improved performance compared to summer 2009 when 26% of their properties remained unsold at this stage.

In addition, the company have announced that forward bookings for next year are 30% higher than during the corresponding period of last year. 

In March of this year Solmar Villas launched an enhanced website design, and opened a number of social media channels to enable customers to communicate directly with both sales and customer service representatives. These initiatives were followed by the launch of a number of innovative consumer promotions and offers designed to stimulate additional business throughout the summer months.

"The new website design, along with our compelling range of consumer promotions and other online marketing initiatives, has clearly been highly effective in driving sales not only for 2010, but also for 2011."
