There are a few truly astounding sights in the world when it comes to wildlife on the move and the river crossings by the annual migration in the heart of the Masai Mara are definitely one of them. But finding the time to go to see this outstanding natural phenomenon can often seem out of reach.
(TRAVPR.COM)UK - June 22nd, 2012 - Wildlife & Wilderness has therefore introduced a new short break to the Masai Mara, which will allow guests to enjoy this outstanding experience in just eight days. The bespoke itinerary means guests can choose the amount of time they spend out on safari or back at the camp, where they can enjoy sustainable accommodation and a breath-taking plains experience.
Safari-goers, first timers or old Africa hands, will fly from the UK to Nairobi and on to the Masai Mara where friendly guides will drive travellers through soothing rolling grasslands to the Entim Mara Camp overlooking the Mara River and hidden away in a genteel grove of woodland.
The camp has seven furnished en-suite tents and dining area with superb views towards the river, so much so that it has become a firm favourite with top wildlife photographers. Renowned for its guiding services the camp provides early morning and evening game drives, although wildlife spotting whilst enjoying the camp is another good option. Whenever guests decide to go out on game drives, they will enjoy first class hospitality including filling bush breakfasts, picnic lunches, relaxing sundowners and outstanding dinners.
Of course, the magnificent wildlife is the primary reason for travel and visitors will not be let down with two awe-inspiring wildebeest and zebra migration crossings within view of the camp. Of course the action from a plethora of other wildlife goes without saying while balloon safaris are available at an additional cost to get a bird’s eye view of it all.
