KIE Travel Trade Show Expands This Year To Include Airlines, Car Rental and Vacation Suppliers.
New York, NY … June 21, 2012 … Japan specialist travel agency, KIE/Kintetsu International, held their 3rd annual KIE Travel Showcase this year on their outside terrace at their New York office, on Thursday, June 7th. In the past this event featured only hotels in KIE’s Preferred Hotel Program. But due to popular demand, this event included over 40 of their preferred travel vendors; including 6 major airlines, 2 car rental companies, 3 vacation suppliers, in addition to 34 hotels.
According to Assistant General Manager, Bill Sarcona, “I believe we are the only travel agency holding such a unique event.” He further adds, “This year with the addition of our travel partners in the air, car and vacation sectors; including our newest partner Crystal Cruises, we had a record number of Kintetsu clients (160) and vendors (45) attend this event. Needless to say it was a huge success.”
KIE’s Travel Showcase gives participating travel vendors an opportunity to promote their product and services directly to Kintetsu clients. The travel partners and the clients are able to exchange information and learn more about the discounted rates KIE has to offer their clients. This event continues to grow every year and has a direct impact on their client's awareness of Kintetsu’s special relationship and special discounts with their preferred travel partners.
