Guests at Coral Beach Resort Sharjah Capture Their ‘Fun Holiday’

(TRAVPR.COM) UAE - May 28th, 2012 - The GM’s Cocktail held earlier this week at the Coral Beach Resort – Sharjah had a new feature this year – a guest photography contest based on the theme of a ‘fun holiday’ at the signature beach resort, which was recently declared the joint winner of the coveted ‘Best HMH Hotel Award for 2011’.

“The contest added plenty of excitement to the evening.The holiday spirit was very much in the air and we received as many as 16 entries, which were beautifully displayed at the venue. Of course, the theme being a fun holiday at the family resort, the focal figures in most of the entries were the young ones swimming, dancing, playing on the lawns and generally having a great time,” said Jean Pierre Simon, Regional General Manager, Northern Emirates, Coral Hotels & Resorts.

“There were a range of prizes given and many of the children featured in the entries came up to receive them, much to the delight of everyone present,” he added.

According to Jean Pierre, owing to the response received and the popularity of the photography contest, it will become a regular feature for holiday-makers to participate in. The theme of the next competitionto be held in June will be ‘family holiday’.
