The one-year position, offered by Wellness With Aloha, includes a free trip to the Big Island of Hawai’i for a week of cultural immersion and soul healing experiences with indigenous kahuna. These magnificent native healers and spiritual guides have been the teachers at the center of Hawaiian culture for centuries.

Wellness With Aloha offers a bridge into deeper Hawaiian culture including personal guided sessions at Hawaii Volcanoes National Park from local and native practitioners. Indigenous experiences that in the past have been inaccessible to the common traveler and involve ceremonies typically reserved only for Hawaiian family range from lomilomi massage to intuitive Hawaiian blessings to guided journeys to the volcano in the private company of kahuna who can connect directly with the power of Pele herself, the Hawaiian Goddess of Love and Fire who calls the Big Island her home.

The successful candidate will enjoy a week of such experiences--and more--as an orientation to the people and culture of the Big Island. At the completion of their week of Hawaiian Healing, the new Hawaiian Cultural Ambassador will return home and agree to be available for one year to make promotional appearances arranged by Wellness With Aloha. The kahuna connected with the company are proud and honored to continue the tradition of their heritage that has been passed down for generations. Many hundreds of Hawaiians with the kahuna wisdoms went to their graves with broken spirits, hearts laden with sadness because they could not practice the healing practices of the kahuna high temple. Today most of the ancient knowledge of the kahuna has been hidden, with only a few masters of healing arts practicing the ancestral wisdom.
